DJI Agras T-50 agricultural spray drone
News · Fleet

The revolutionary DJI Agras T-50 has arrived at CCADS.

The DJI Agras T-50 — the most advanced agricultural drone on the market — is now available to hire through Coffs Coast Aerial Drone Services. A serious step up from our previous T-10, and a change in what's possible per hour on Australian paddocks.

The T-50 pairs a heavier payload with more thrust and better software than anything DJI has put in front of the ag market before. In practice, that means faster, more accurate application over more challenging terrain, and the ability to switch between spraying and spreading with the same aircraft — one fuselage, two mission profiles.

Real numbers

  • 24 L/min spray flow rate
  • 108 kg/min granular spreading rate
  • 103 kg maximum take-off weight
  • ~11 ha/hr spray coverage at 40 L/ha over undulating terrain

What it changes on the ground

Autonomous flight lines with terrain-following radar mean the aircraft stays on-swath regardless of hills or timber. Because the T-50 accepts variable-rate prescription maps (typically from our multispectral sensor), it can dial application up or down zone-by-zone across the same paddock — the kind of precision that has reduced chemical inputs by up to 30% for our clients.

Add CASA-approved operations, EPA chemical accreditation (business and individual), and a pilot who has logged the hours by hand rather than by autopilot alone, and you've got aerial application on a purchase order — not a handshake.
